Matthew Clarie focuses his practice in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, DUI, Civil and Probate Litigation and Estate Planning. He manages and practices out of the Tampa satellite office of Clarie Law, which opened in 2016.
Matthew worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the 19th Judicial Circuit and in the 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida for five years representing thousands of clients through all phases of criminal proceedings and litigated over 20 felony jury trials. Matthew has been in private practice since 2010 and has assisted clients facing difficult circumstances throughout the greater Tampa Bay area and the State of Florida.
He resides in Tampa with his beautiful wife, newborn daughter, and his elderly dog, Blackey. He enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball. He has an avid yoga practice and is a certified yoga instructor.

Peggy is also trained in Collaborative Law. This is a specialized method of resolving disputes without the need for Court involvement. The Collaborative process helps families reach harmony without the need for excessive litigation fees in a confidential setting. Collaborative law may be used in multiple settings including Estate and Trust disputes and Family Law.
She is Florida Bar Board Certified in Adoption Law and her adoption practice and child advocacy work includes:

Peggy is active in her community and enjoys the Florida outdoors. She participates in many sports including swimming, playing tennis and coaching cross country.
