Dena Runfola / Legal Assistant
Dena joined Clarie Law Offices, P.A. in March of 2014 as a legal assistant bringing 20 years of management experience and 30 years of administrative experience with her. Prior to this, she held the Deputy Clerk position with the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court at the St. Petersburg Judicial Branch in the area of Probate for 7 years.
Dena was also the co-owner of a locally owned and operated mortgage brokerage firm for 10 years and the Accounts Receivable Manager for a global travel agency for 10 years. Dena enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the Florida sunshine.
Gina Heretick, J.D. / Legal Assistant
Gina joined Clarie Law Offices, P.A. in 2017. Prior to this, she worked at Franklin Templeton Investments as a Digital Marketing Supervisor and as the host and producer of the Daily Business Intelligence news program where she interviewed portfolio managers and senior executives across the globe to provide timely updates on market events.
While working at Franklin Templeton, Gina earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. Shortly after graduating from the University of San Diego with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Gina joined Americorps, where she provided comprehensive case management for children on probation in southern San Diego. She also volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and taught English and Computer while living in Tanzania, Africa. Gina currently lives on St. Pete Beach with her family and an adorable pup, Rue.
Julie Gaccione / Legal Assistant
Julie joined Clarie Law Offices, P.A. as a Legal Assistant in August 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. Prior to having children, Julie was a Brand Merchandising Representative for a global athletic company and a denim company. She was also a Retail Manager for a national department store chain. She has spent the last 11 years volunteering at her children’s school as a Co-Chair for their largest annual fundraiser, Chairwoman of the annual Book Fair, organizer and fundraiser for Teacher Appreciation Week and the coordinator for a girl’s math and science afterschool club. Julie enjoys going to the movies, baking and eating dinners she doesn’t have to cook.
Tina Shade / Legal Assistant
Tina has almost thirty years of experience in the adoption field, in both private practice and with private agencies. Tina’s role in the adoption field has included managing all aspects of the legal department of a private agency, providing legal support to the social work team, directing the reunification process between adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents, and providing assistance and guidance to both birth parents and adoptive parents throughout the legal adoption process. Tina has had the pleasure of playing a role in hundreds of adoptions and each one holds a special place in her heart. Tina has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2009 and is a member of the Florida Adoption Council. Tina is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loves to spend time with family. She and her husband have been married for 30 years with three grown children. She is very active in her church and recently went on her first mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic.
Carol D’Urso / Legal Administrative Assistant
She is a former Project Manager of software development and new product testing for a major telecommunications company. Carol has over thirty years of administrative assistant experience. She began working for Clarie Law Offices, P.A. in 2012 after retiring from a project management position. She is extensively involved in all front office activities related to the law firm, including schedule management, assisting clients and providing administrative support to the attorneys. Carol enjoys traveling with her husband, family outings with her grandchildren and outdoor beach activities.
Joanne Clarie / Client Liaison
Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a Masters in Educational Leadership degree from Southeast Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Joanne has thirty years of experience in the field of education as both a teacher and an administrator. She retired from being an educator to provide administrative support in her husband’s law office and serve as the firm’s Human Resource Manager. She is also the Assistant Administrator of The Mary C. Forbes Foundation where she oversees the schools and students within the Diocese of St. Petersburg Roman Catholic Church that qualify for educational funding from the foundation Joanne loves to work in the garden, read and spend time with her family. She and her husband D’Arcy have eighteen grandchildren that they enjoy taking on family outings to the beach.
Joanna Storer / Certified Paralegal
Joanna has over 55 years experience in probate, guardianship and trust administration. She has worked with D’Arcy R. Clarie, Esquire for over 30 years as a legal assistant/paralegal and joined Clarie Law Offices, P.A. in 2004 with Mr. Clarie. She is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and a member of Florida Legal Assistants, Inc. both since 1995. For over 12 years, Joanna has been a guest speaker at the St. Petersburg College Legal Assistant Program, Guardianship Section. She works closely with the attorneys and meets with clients on estate, guardianship and trust administration matters. Joanna’s interests include horses, cats, sewing and crafting.
Steve Senentz / I.T. & Systems Administrator
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a Software Engineer with over 15 years of experience in Programming, Design, and Client Support. Steve is also an Information Technology Implementation & Administration Expert. Steve also acts as the General Accountant & Bookkeeper for Clarie Law Offices, P.A. Steve enjoys running, science fiction & fantasy, music, movies, technology, and G.T.D. (“getting things done”).
