HURRICANE MILTON UPDATE

This Hurricane Milton update records our October 2024 office response. The storm image and operating arrangements below are historical, so please confirm current appointment details directly with Clarie Law.

Hurricane Milton has disrupted normal operations. Our staff will respond to questions and emails as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.

Hurricane Milton Track Cone - Clarie Law - 2024

As an update after the arrival of Hurricane Helene, our remote office is set up and all staff working remotely. We have been meeting clients in multiple ways including face to face, zoom, telephone while our landlord repaired dry wall and flooring in our south pasadena office.

Hurricane Milton arrived soon after Helene. Early this week, our staff will need to evacuate and prepare their homes. Their safety remains a priority.

Staff will communicate with you by email. Our team will answer office phones off site as conditions allow.

The cell number for attorney Peggy Clarie is 727-470-4837

Thank you and we hope you, your family and friends are safe during this unprecedented time.

Hurricane Milton Update: Keeping in Touch

Storm disruptions can make it hard to reach the right person at the right time. When contacting a law office, provide your name, a safe callback number, and a brief description of your question. Also mention any date shown on a court notice or other time-sensitive document. This helps staff understand what needs attention.

If you leave a message, note when and how you contacted the office. However, do not assume that a delayed reply changes a legal deadline. Ask your attorney about your specific matter and the steps available when weather interrupts normal operations.

Organizing Information During an Office Disruption

Keep a small folder with appointment confirmations, recent letters, and copies of documents you need to discuss. In addition, write down any temporary address or contact changes. Accurate contact information helps your legal team reach you while you stay elsewhere or restore services at home.

Before sending sensitive documents, ask the office which delivery method to use. Avoid placing account details or private family information in public social media comments. A short message requesting a callback usually gives staff enough information to begin.

This Hurricane Milton update remains part of our office archive. For current meeting arrangements, use our contact page. If you are also reviewing important documents, our estate planning information offers a starting point for your questions.
